Q4 - Who would be the audience for the media product?

As a group, we attempted to integrate promotion of our Thriller film through social media sites such as Facebook. As Facebook is most likely used by the majority or all of our target audience, this was the ideal place to socially integrate our promotion and aim the boost the popularity of the release. Our priority target audience is as follows:


  • People with a particular interest in Psychological Thrillers
  • Audiences who look for edge-of-your-seat action
  • Enjoy following compelling plots accompanied with intriguing characters
To achieve social integration and interaction with existing and potential audiences, we created the official Facebook page of our film 'The Withdrawn', our Psychological Thriller film release.


Above shows our official Facebook page including updates in order to keep people up to date in real time.

Aside from using Facebook, we also used Vimeo in order to reach out to audiences further in an attempt to garner larger audiences. By simultaneously using both of these networks for promotion, this would be likely to prove just as effective in reaching out to wider audiences.
