Camera Health and Safety and Camera Tutorial.
Although we have been through the camera health and safety and camera tutorial incase we forgot it, Micky our teacher was called in order to go through it again just to refresh our minds and be safe during our filming as we haven't filmed in a few weeks.
Camera Shot Types
The things Micky reminded us of the camera shots. one of which main shot was the 'Thirds' rule which was a different version of the over shoulder shot where the person with the back facing the camera covers 2/3s of the screen and the person facing the camera took 1/3 of the same on the frame.
We also was reminded that there should be no space above the pupils head that are in the frame as it was not very professional to do and could possibly degrade our work.
Analysis of Videos
During our tutorial of the camera, we also recapped on analysis as it would help us during us when we were performing our work, we watched 'American Beauty' which after we then analysed the camera shots and how it was filmed, we also then watched 'Mean Girls' and analysed it also.
Auto Focus and Manual Focus
While Micky was here, he also reminded us that we should mainly keep our camera focus on Manual as he stated that if its on Auto Focus, the focus is bound to mix focus during the filming.
